For users/institutions that rely on Moodle.
Take advantage of a dedicated virtual room built into the LMS your institution already has.
To install the plugin for Moodle, please follow these steps:
Download
Get the latest version of the plugin.
You can download it following this link:
https://storage.googleapis.com/moodle-plugin/v0.2.0/mod_tutoom.zip
Install
Once downloaded, go to your Moodle Site Administration page and select Install plugins in the Plugins tab.
Site administration > Plugins tab > Install plugin
Drag the file into the square (or load it manually by clicking Choose file...) and wait for it to load.
Once it's loaded, you must click on Install plugin from the ZIP file.
A confirmation message should appear.
If no errors were found, you should click on Continue two more times.
If there's an error, please check the Troubleshooting article or contact support directly.
Proceed to upgrade Moodle's database.
A final confirmation message should appear. Click on Continue.
You should now enter your keys. You can find them in My Account > Settings > Integrations , by following this link.
These keys are necessary to connect Tutoom and Moodle securely.
Once entered, proceed to Save changes.
You’re all set!
Optionally, you can verify the installation by going to the Plugins overview page.

Set keys
If you haven't set these keys when installing the plugin, please set your keys to start using Tutoom.
Every Tutoom account has two keys: Account ID and Secret key.
You can find them by going to My Account > Settings > Integrations , by following this link.
Go to your Site administration page and browse the Tutoom Classroom plugin.
Site administration > Plugins > Plugins overview
Once you find it, click on Settings.
You should now enter your keys.
You can find them in My Account > Settings > Integrations , by following this link.
Fill in the blanks accordingly and then proceed to Save changes.
That's it! You may now start using the plugin.
Using the plugin
In order to use the plugin you must first add it as an activity or resource in a topic on an existing/new course.
We'll start creating a course. If you're familiar with this first step, please go to step 6 in the graphics below to learn how to add it to a topic.
Create a course going to your Site home in Moodle.
Site home > Add a new course
If this option doesn't appear, make sure you have editing options active.
To do this, click on the cog icon and select Turn editing on.
Fill in the blanks with the information needed and click on Save and display in the first confirmation, and Proceed to course content on the second confirmation window.

Click on Proceed to course content
Once finished you'll see some topics added to your course.
Now let's add the plugin to a topic.
Add an activity or resource to the topic of your preference and look for Tutoom Classroom to add it.
Add an activity or resource > Tutoom Classroom > Add
Fill in the blanks according to your needs and proceed to Save and display.
Once finished you should see a loading page. Please wait until the setup is complete.
That's it, you may now click on Start session to start a new class.
