Write notes

In Tutoom you can write notes publicly during sessions when the moderator allows it. This feature enables collaborative note-taking visible to all participants.

How to write notes

To write notes during a session, access the notes feature through the session interface.

Write notes categories

When notes writing is enabled, you can write notes that will be visible to all participants in the session.

Write notes enabled

When notes writing is restricted

If the moderator has disabled note writing, you will see the restricted state:

Note permissions

Alert icon

  • Participants: Can write notes publicly only when enabled by moderator
  • Moderators: Can always write notes publicly
  • Group Rooms: All users become moderators, so notes writing restrictions don't apply

The notes writing permission only affects public notes that all participants can see. This helps moderators control the level of participant interaction during sessions.
